DBE Goal notice for FY 2009

Subject: DBE Goal notice for FY 2009

The following is a notice to all Nevada newspapers. Please have it published once a week for four consecutive weeks. This notice must be published in minority focus publications as well as the mainstream press.

The Nevada Department of Transportation’s proposed Annual Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program goal for Federal Fiscal Year 2009 is 5.7 percent in a race neutral program. The proposed goal and the rationale are available for inspection in the Nevada Department of Transportation Contract Compliance Division office.

Three Public Meetings will be held as follows:

  1. Elko on July 15, 2008, from 4 PM to 7 PM at 1951 Idaho Street Elko NV 89801, in the main conference room.
     
  2. Reno on July 16, 2008, from 4 PM to 7 PM at 310 Galletti Way Sparks NV 89431 in the main conference room.
     
  3. Las Vegas July 17, 2008, from 4 PM to 7 PM at 123 E. Washington St. Las Vegas NV 89101 in Training Room A.

The Nevada Department of Transportation will accept written public comment until July 30, 2008, at the following address:
